He graduated from University College Cork and did post-graduate study in the USA and St. Thomas' Hospital, London, as well as Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin and The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland. He now practices as a GP. He has been doing NeuroProlotherapy for 7 years, having studied under Dr John Lyftogt of New Zealand, who pioneered the treatment, which is a refinement of the more traditional Prolotherapy.
